GM Buses North 7003 (H703 GVM) at RAF Mildenhall – 28 May 1994 (225-12) (1)

Saturday 28 May 1994 – GM Buses North 7003 (H703 GVM) had travelled a good way from Bury, Greater Manchester with a party of visitors attending the Air Fete at RAF Mildenhall. It is a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Citybus B10M-50 one of a batch of eight such buses added to the fleet in July 1991 which were initially used on the rail replacement service between Bury and Manchester during the upgrading of the railway lines in readiness for the Metrolink tram service.

It carries lettering for the ‘Trans Lancs Express’ services 400/401 operated between Stockport and Bolton.
