USAF 90B 2045 in Barton Mills - 24 Aug 1996 (325-16)

Saturday 24 August 1996 - United States Air Force 90B 2045 caught parked in The Street, Barton Mills. It is a well appointed and smart looking Wadham Stringer bodied Dodge/Renault that was new in 1990. As a rule such bodywork tends to be utilitarian for the military, equipped with bus seating and all over matt green exterior paintwork.

The wall on the left hides a private house named ‘The Dhoon’. The property was the country home of Sir Alexander Fleming (1881-1955) the discoverer of penicillin from 1921 to until his death in 1955.
