Sunday 29 Sept 2019 – Showbus, Hertfordshire County Showground. Preserved former Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee vehicles.
18 (HWY 36), a Leyland bodied Leyland Titan PD2/1 new in January 1950.
2 (GWU 12), a Leyland bodied Leyland Titan PD2/1 new in February 1948.
15 (YG 7831), a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Tiger TS6 new in June 1934.
On January 1 1931 Todmorden Corporation sold 50% of its bus undertaking to the London Midland & Scottish Railway and thus the Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee was formed. Until changes in the late 1960s/early 1970s half of the bus fleet was owned by the Corporation and half by LMSR or later by British Railways. All these three buses had been owned by the Corporation.
