Saturday 27 July 2019 (1416) – Centrebus 783 (T22 TYB) seen in Charles Street, Leicester. It is one of a number of Optare Versas acquired from Transdev Yellow Buses in Bournemouth hence the ‘TYB’ letters in the registration. It had been new to them in September 2008 as their number 22. In 2009 a share exchange between Transdev and RATP resulted in Yellow Buses passing to RATP so the ‘TYB’ registrations ceased to have a meaning after that. (In the early Summer of 2019 even less so after Yellow Buses was acquired by its management).
