West Yorkshire Road Car 2605 (UWY 83X) in Norwich – 26 May 1984
Saturday 26 May 1984 – West Yorkshire Road Car Company 2605 (UWY 83X), a Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Leopard new in August 1981, seen in Surrey Street bus station, Norwich when working the National Express service 356 to Bradford. It would have commenced at Great Yarmouth if not Lowestoft.

Two coaches duplicating the same service are also in the photograph. On the left is Black and White Coaches of Scunthorpe YNY 587T, a Plaxton Supreme bodied Bedford YMT that had been new to Hill’s of Tredegar in April 1979.

Standing behind is Hughes Coaches of Castleford MUR 218L, a Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied AEC Reliance new in June 1973 to Randall’s Coaches of London W2, which was labelled for Leeds.
