Friday 3 August 2018 (0718) – Bus stop sign in Duisburg Way near Pier Road in Southsea. First and Stagecoach provide most (if not all) of the public bus services in the Portsmouth/Southsea area. This stop is served by First Hampshire and Dorset service 1, a circular route from/to The Hard via Eastney and Southsea, and by Stagecoach service 23 from Southsea to Havant and Leigh Park.

Visible in the background is the Spinnaker Tower on the waterfront. This observation tower standing 560 feet (170 metres) high was opened in 2005 and, to reflect Portsmouth’s maritime history, is designed to represent a ship’s sail.
