Friday 1 June 2018 (1241) – I very nearly took a ride on Go North East Optare Solo 651 (NL63 XZY) from Bedford Street, North Shields but, having taken a ticket, discovered during a quick chat with the driver that I would probably be quicker walking to the Tyne Ferry landing stage rather than taking this bus working service 333. The journey via Tynemouth would take nearly 20 minutes but the walk no more than ten. New in December 2013 allocated to Percy Main garage.
