Saturday 2 June 2018 (0907) – Newcastle-upon-Tyne Central Railway Station forms the backcloth to this photograph. At the kerbside is Go North East 8318 (NK10 GOU), an Optare Versa new in August 2010, which had recently arrived on the ‘Quaylink’ service Q1 from Gateshead. Passing by is Go North East 7126 (BX16 CKJ), a Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B11RT new in May 2016, which was working the 0810 National Express service 425 from Ashington to London (Victoria).
