Wednesday 18 April 2018 (1624) – Mulleys Motorways YN04 UJS, an East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD new to Nottingham City Transport (number 736) in May 2004, seen travelling down Bell Lane in Barton Mills when working the 1535 service 955 from Bury St. Edmunds to Lakenheath. This isn’t the normal route. A diversion was in place for three days this week whilst a pipe was laid across The Street between the Bull Inn and the Bell Inn.

Just recently, like many places in the UK now, this telephone booth has been decommissioned. In the case here it has recently been repainted and now houses a defibrillator for emergency medical use.

Another popular use for a former telephone booth is to stock it with reading material and have it as a village 'book exchange'.
