DSCF1120 Amersham & District Motorbus Society Running Day at Watford Junction - 8 Apr 2018
Sunday 8 April 2018 (1026) – Today the Watford Junction Interchange was not only in active use with normal regular bus services but was also the focal point for the Amersham & District Motorbus Society Running Day. The society replicated former London Transport/London Country services of the past.

On the left are two preserved vehicles. Wearing National Bus Company green is former London Country Bus Services Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol LHS BN45 (GPD 313N) new in November 1974. In LT red is Metro-Cammell bodied AEC Regal IV RF404 (MXX 294) new in January 1953.

On the right, carrying out a regular duty is Mullany’s Coaches HP06 BUS, an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 new in June 2014, operating the shuttle to/from the Harry Potter Studios at Leavesden. On the extreme edge is a London Sovereign (RATP) double decker.
