DSCF0819 Centrebus 327 (YJ16 DRV) and 388 (Y38 HBT) in Hitchin - 23 Feb 2018

Friday 23 February 2018 (1156) – Centrebus Optare Solos seen in Bancroft in Hitchin town centre. Left is the newer style 327 (YJ16 DRV), new around May 2016, which carries ‘Fab 80’s’ branding for the Westmill-Hitchin-Ninesprings-Stevenage services. This trip was the 1135 from Ninesprings to Westmill. Right is older style 388 (Y38 HBT), ready to work the 1203 service 190 to Biggleswade and Sandy. It was new in March 2001 to, I believe, North East Somerset Community Transport for operation on the Bristol to Cheddar ‘Chew Valley Explorer’ service.
