DSCN1090 Far East Travel GX56 BKY in Ipswich - 4 Sep 2007

Tuesday 4 September 2007 (approx. 1035) - Far East Travel GX56 BKY seen turning in to the Old Cattle Market bus station in Ipswich having worked the 1020 service 140 to Belstead. New in early 2007 it was a Transbus Enviro200 prototype which had the engine positioned vertically in the rear offside corner which enabled an exit door to be fitted behind the nearside rear wheel. Note that the front wheels are smaller than those at the rear. Unfortunately it moved off too quickly for me to get a decent shot of this unusual layout.
