Fylde Borough 52 (TKH 266H) and 49 (TKH 314K) in Blackpool - 3 Oct 1992 (181-32)

Saturday 3 October 1992 – In regulated days neighbouring municipal undertakings Blackpool Transport and Fylde Borough Transport (the latter previously Lytham St. Annes Corporation) operated joint services in harmony. After de-regulation things changed and competition ensued.

These two Fylde Borough Transport Roe bodied Leyland Atlanteans had been acquired from Kingston-upon-Hull Corporation Transport. Left is 52 (TKH 266H) new in December 1969 as Hull’s 266 and right is 49 (ARH 314K) new in January 1972 as Hull’s 314. They were heading south along the Promenade in Blackpool. Blackpool Transport took over Fylde Borough Transport in 1994.
