DSCF7848 Selwyn’s Travel 172 (FJ61 EWZ) in a 'Leaving of Liverpool' plus a 'Knight's of Old' van - 16 Jun 2017

Friday 16 June 2017 (1108) – Selwyn’s Travel 172 (FJ61 EWZ), a Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B9R new in December 2011, seen heading up Brownlow Hill in Liverpool when working the National Express service 060 to Manchester and Leeds. An Arriva bus is visible in the background. There are a number of University buildings located further up the hill and in the photograph there are quite a few students heading to and from lectures. Note the name on the blue van. The village of Old in Northamptonshire was once the home of Knight’s Transport - despite having relocated to Northampton some years ago it still trades with the very fitting name ‘Knights of Old’.
