Lothian OFS 668Y in Hanover Street, Edinburgh - 2 Aug 1997

Saturday 2 August 1997 – Lothian Region Transport 668 (OFS 668Y), an Eastern Coachworks bodied Leyland Olympian new in January 1983, seen in Hanover Street, Edinburgh. At the time of this visit the LRT fleet comprised about 496 covered top dual door double deckers comprising three body styles (ECW (127), Alexander RH (234) and Alexander Royale (67)) on Olympian chassis (Leyland and Volvo). Also in the fleet were the last 68 Alexander AL bodied Leyland Atlanteans dating from 1979/1981.
