Centrebus (inMotion) L104 SDY at Welwyn Garden City - 3 Jun 2004

Thursday 3 June 2003 - The Blazefield subsidiary Sovereign Bus and Coach Limited sold its St Alban’s operations to Centrebus of Leicester on 4 January 2004. Some Sovereign vehicles, mainly mini-buses, passed to the new company whereas some of Sovereign’s larger vehicles were loaned(?) to Centrebus. Having become Centrebus 704 (L104 SDY) this Plaxton Premiere Interurban bodied Dennis Javelin had been new to Stagecoach South Coast (#1104) in March 1994. It was seen in Welwyn Garden City bus station having had orange over stickers (and an orange coachline in place of Sovereign’s red coachline?) applied. In the background was Sovereign 104 (M104 UKX), a 1995 Wright Endurance bodied Volvo B10B-58, working service 300 to Stevenage.
