DSCF5658 Stagecoach East garage in Bedford - 7 Oct 2016

Friday 7 October 2016 (1220) – I took a ride on Stagecoach East Optare Solo 47436 (YJ56 AOL) working service 3 in Bedford. The service travels along the raised section of London Road, a bridge that once crossed the Cambridge-Oxford railway line. The trackbed is occupied by the parked cars in this photograph. The United Counties Omnibus Company, acquired by the Stagecoach Group in November 1987, previously owned the garage.
