Sunday 21 August 2016 – Former Glenton Tours HYR 176W, a Plaxton Supreme bodied Volvo B58-56 new in February 1981, seen at the ‘Buses Festival’ held at the National Motor Museum, Gaydon organised by ‘Buses’ magazine. London based Glenton operated upmarket coach tours that were very popular with foreign tourists. Its immaculate coaches featured centre entrances long after fashions changed in the late 1950s and front entrances became standard.
