Line up of coaches at St. Helier - 4 Sep 1999
Saturday 4 September 1999 – A line up of Duple Dominant bodied coaches seen on the parking ground at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands. The three coaches on the far left carry the Tantivy Motors colours as used prior to the merger that created Tantivy Blue Coach Tours in November 1996. Second from the left is 65 (J 62568) and third from the left is 48 (64438). Then is a Pioneer coach in black and white livery; Tantivy Blue 61 (J 64346) in a white livery; Tantivy Blue 46 (J 10569) in blue; Tantivy Blue 56 (J 86601) in white livery with blue and red stripes; and finally Waverley Coaches 14 (J27414) in the company’s yellow and white livery.
A 2019 update to this photograph. The parking area has now been redeveloped and is home to a number of low rise office buildings occupied by different financial companies. The wall along the background remains as it is a listed building beyond which is now the Liberty Wharf Shopping Centre. Go through the arch above the blue coach to initially enter Marks and Spencer's food store.
