Eastern Counties OEX 800W and RNG 825W at The Suffolk Punch, Red Lodge - 26 Feb 1984

Eastern Counties OEX 800W and RNG 825W at The Suffolk Punch, Red Lodge - 26 Feb 1984
Sunday 26 February 1984 – Two Eastern Counties Omnibus Company Leyland Leopard coaches seen at the Suffolk Punch in Red Lodge. LL825 (RNG 825W), with Duple Dominant bodywork carrying full National white livery, was working through to London. LL800 (OEX 800W), with Willowbrook bodywork, was now in the ‘red line’ livery that was applied to older vehicles that became ‘local coaches’. I seem to recall LL800 transferred its passengers to LL825 for their onward journey to the capital. LL800 was based at Newmarket garage. LL825 appeared regularly on the twice daily Kings Lynn to London service 101 and I believe it was allocated to Kings Lynn garage.
