Friday 6 May 2016 (1211) – On board Delaine Buses Limited 151 (SF55 HHD), a Wright Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE new to Whitelaw Coaches, Stonehouse, Lanarkshire in November 2005 working the 1100 Peterborough-Stamford-Bourne service 201. Plenty of interior signs. Those above the windows include a diagrammatic map of the company’s services plus two others outlining the various ticket options available (left) and a summary of bus departure times from Peterborough (right). On the driver’s bulkhead are the formal ‘do’s and don’t’s’. It surprised me a little that Delaine, a company that invests in the most modern and brand new buses, still uses this style of Almex ticket machine (type A90?). Over the driver’s interior mirror, obscured by the grab handles, was the company name in gold.
