Winchmore Furniture GOR 240K and Hammond's Lakenheath WCX 242V - Apr 1984

April 1984 - Winchmore Furniture had factories in Mildenhall and Newmarket and for a time operated Strachans bodied Ford GOR 240K which had been new to the London Borough of Barking in June 1972. It was seen parked adjacent to the premises of Hammond's Coaches in Lakenheath - in later years the site occupied by the Doctor's Surgery. Hammond's WCX 242V, a Plaxton Supreme bodied Ford new to Wood's of Mirfield in August 1979.
