Eastern Counties UVF 625X and MCL 930P in Mildenhall - 6 March 1983
Sunday 6 March 1983 - For a time the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company operated a limited stop service between Cambridge and Great Yarmouth numbered 790 branded ‘Eastline’. Three Leyland National single deckers painted white with a red band were normally employed although other types appeared. In this view at King Street, Mildenhall Leyland National LN625 (UVF 625X), based at Great Yarmouth garage, was working eastbound on the 1520 Cambridge-Great Yarmouth service. Behind it is LL748 (MCL 930P), an Alexander bodied Leyland Leopard based at Cambridge garage, was working westbound on the 1340 Great Yarmouth-Cambridge service.
