Service 9 (Shoeburyness--Southend-on-Sea—Rayleigh) is branded ‘Ride the wave’. Many of the buses operated by Arriva in Southend-on-Sea carry tourist related advertising with a ‘something’-on-Sea theme. Bus is named ‘Procol Harum’, after the famous (to people of a certain age) rock band formed in Southend in 1967. Remember ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’?
