MacKenzie Bus Line 30 at Bridgewater - 10 Sep 1992 (176-30)
Thursday 10 September 1992 (around 1100) – MacKenzie Bus Line (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) 30 seen outside the company office at 210 York Street in Bridgewater. The coach, a 1976 MCI MC5B Courier Challenger, was working the 0900 Halifax-Yarmouth trip 12. The overall journey is approx. 220 miles taking 5 hours 55 minutes.
Two drivers were employed on the trip. The first driving the Halifax-Bridgewater section (having previously worked the 0700 Bridgewater-Halifax trip). The second driver took the coach from Bridgewater to Yarmouth. He was Chester Fevens seen in this photograph just after the loading of an automotive suspension unit being shipped by the two young men. The carriage of parcels and such items providing regular additional revenue on inter-city coach services. (Ref 176-30)
