Burtons Coaches G234 BRT (ex MOD) at Mildenhall - 4 Aug 2001 (474-32A)

Burtons Coaches G234 BRT was seen in the High Street in Mildenhall. It is a former Ministry of Defence Plaxton Derwent bodied Leyland Tiger which had had an interesting existance having previously been operated by the Royal Air Force and stationed in Hong Kong. Like many MOD buses it featured large full height opening doors for maximum access so that it could carry equipment and, in times of necessity, it could be converted to an ambulance.
