Århus (Aarhus) Sporveje ticket inspectors on board bus 099 (HB 88 745) - 26 May 1988 (Ref: 67-12)

Thursday 26 May 1988 - Ticket inspectors on board Århus Sporveje bus 099, a Leyland LS 575-690/4 with DAB serie 4 bodywork new September 1979.

I was on board the bus which pulled up at a busy city centre bus stop. I observed these two ticket inspectors lurking in a shop doorway close to the bus stop. At the very last moment as the final passengers stepped on board they quickly jumped aboard the bus, one using the front door and the other using the rear door (positioned at the very back of the bus where I am standing). They each then checked the passenger's tickets and coincidentally as they reached the centre of the bus they both found passengers without valid tickets. In this view they are issuing fines to the offenders.
