In this view, taken at the A57/Newcastle Avenue/Mansfield Road roundabout, it was heading into St. Annes Drive when operating the 0816 service 209 to Edwinstowe. Edwinstowe features in various aspects of Robin Hood legend. Robin is said to have married Maid Marian at St. Mary's Church and, just north of the town in Sherwood Forest, is the circa 1000 year old 'Major Oak' tree which folklore says was Robin's hiding place.
