Primrose (Bisset) KUP 384N 8 July 1975 (2)

Tuesday 8 July 1975 (approx 1055) - R & M Bisset Limited was one of two partners sharing the name Primrose Coaches. KUP 384N was a Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied AEC Reliance 6U3ZR new in June 1975. It was seen at the pickup point in the Main Street of the quaint market town of Sedbergh when working the daily service between the Fylde Coast and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The pale yellow livery featured a white band all enhanced by orange flame refinements (curtains, fleetname, destination blind etc). The driver, Billy Ebdon, walks back to the coach. He was married to Rita Ebdon (nee Bisset). Rita and her sister Joyce Grant were the named directors of the company and daughters of Robert and Margaret Bisset.
