Alexander (Midland) MPD37 (FWG 183) and MNV26 (JMS 439E) at Crainlarich - 30 May 1967

Tuesday 30 May 1967 - W Alexander and Sons (Midland) Limited MPD37 (FWG 183) and MNV26 (JMS 439E) at Crainlarich. MPD37 was working the evening Oban to Glasgow service whilst MNV26 had travelled behind as a possible duplicate although it wasn't required and so returned back to Oban. Both have Alexander bodywork, MPD37 was a 1954 Leyland Tiger Cub and MNV26 was an Albion Viking just a few weeks old. (I loaned someone the original print of this photo years ago and never got it back. This is a scan of a photocopy which I had retained for reference).
