The bus, which was new to Stagecoach Manchester (Greater Manchester South) in March 2008, carries route branding for the X46 and X47 services which combine to give a service every 30 minutes between Northampton and Thrapston however, between Wellingborough and Earls Barton, it is only the X47 which serves Great Doddington - the X46 takes a different route serving the nearby village of Wilby
