L’église Saint-Cyr-Sainte-Julitte est bâtie en forme de croix latine et peut se vanter d’être édifiée grâce au marbre de la carrière de sa commune; marbre qui est encore plébiscité pour la construction de monuments emblématiques nationaux ou étrangers (p.e. Sacré-Coeur à Paris). Les parties gothiques sont érigées entre 1120 et 1150, par la suite elle a beaucoup évolué au fil des siècles et cela transparait dans sa disposition, son style, et ses matériaux.

IT CROSSED THE CENTURIES.The Church of Saint-Cyr-Sainte-Julitte is built in the shape of a Latin cross and can boast of being built using marble from the quarry of its municipality; marble used (and still popular) for the construction of symbolatic national or foreign monuments (e.g. Sacré-Coeur in Paris). The Gothic parts are erected between 1120 and 1150, thereafter it has evolved a lot over the centuries and this is reflected in its disposition, its style, and its materials.

SIE DURCHQUERTE DIE JAHRHUNDERTE. Die Kirche Saint-Cyr-Sainte-Julitte hat die Form eines lateinischen Kreuzes und kann sich rühmen, aus Marmor aus dem Steinbruch ihrer Gemeinde gebaut worden zu sein; ein Marmor, der für den Bau symbolträchtiger nationaler oder ausländischer Denkmäler (z. B. Sacré-Coeur in Paris) verwendet wurde und noch wird. Die gotischen Teile wurden zwischen 1120 und 1150 errichtet, danach hat sie sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte stark weiterentwickelt, was sich in ihrer Anordnung, ihrem Stil und ihren Materialien widerspiegelt.
