"Le Prophète", œuvre monumentale en bronze (2008). 12 t, 7 m de haut… Le Prophète est la dernière œuvre de Louis Derbré, sculpteur mayennais. Dans le parc "Agora", on peut voir diverses sculptures exposées. (voir PiP).

Oui, mais celui-là est bien "terre à terre", et la tête (en bronze) est immense : moi debout j'arrivais au-dessus de son menton !!

Diese Aufnahme erinnert mich daran, daß es auf den Lofoten auch eine Plastik gibt "Der Kopf".
Ganz klein und unscheinbar, umgeben von unendlicher Natur. Muß ich mal im Speicher suchen ...

Heidi, Du sprichst sicher vom "Januskopf" bei Eggum ? Die von jeder Seite den selben Kopf darstellt ? Diese Bronze-Statue hier ist riesig : 6,50 m und wiegt 12 t !!

As a matter of fact, I have no idea what the artist meant to say, I only admire this huge bronze head in the middle of the meadow. By the way I never do (look for the artist's meaning): either I appreciate a work or don't like it... Have a nice weekend, Dinesh.
