Fansipan (Vietnamese: Phan Xi Păng, About this sound listen) is a mountain in Vietnam, the highest in Indochina at 3143 metres. It is located in the Lào Cai Province of the Northwest region of Vietnam, 9 km southwest of Sa Pa Township.

So weit ich mich erinnere, ist die Wanderung auf den Gipfel nicht allzu schwer, aber extrem lang, also 1 bis 3 Tage. Allerdings lese ich gerade, dass seit heuer eine Seilbahn auf den Gipfel führt.......
