The next two Alpine passes are Forcola di Livigno (border crossing from Italy to Switzerland and watershed between Mediterranian Sea and Black Sea) and Passo del Bernina (Berninapass, "Pass dal Bernina", PiP). Schöner Blick.
(wo du gerade von der Wasserscheide Mittelmeer/Schwarzes Meer schreibst: irgendwo habe ich auf einer Karte mal gesehen, dass ein winziges Tälchen in Italien sich ins Engadin entwässert, also in den Inn und damit die Donau. So ist Italien auch ein Donauanrainer ... ;-) )

Ich hab in menem Exbüro eine riesige Landkarte des Donaueinzugsgebiets hängen gehabt. Leider habe ich die Karte meinen Nachfolgern vererbt ;-) Das Hochpustertal ist das glaube ich, entwässert zur Drau. Dann noch der Stillerbach bei Nauders, entwässert zum Inn.

Ich wühl mich jetzt schon seit einer Stunde durch meine Festplatte und finde meine Karte nicht. :-(
Das Hochpustertal, mit der Drau hatte ich nicht im Sinn, in meinem Fokus ist Südtirol auch nicht wirklich ... na ja, man soll's nicht sagen und ich würde ja auch nichts ändern wollen, aber ... Italien ist meiner Meinung nach wo anders. Ich werde jetzt mal nach dem Stillerbach schauen, aber ich war mir sicher, dass es außerhalb Südtirols war. Also in Italien ... ;-)

Ja du lieber Himmel! Es ist ja eh hier!! Das Livignotal und seine Nebentäler entwässern in den Inn. Das ist eben, außer Südtirol, das Fleckchen Italien, das an die Donau anschließt.
Schade, dass mein Gedächtnis bei Namen (und manch anderem) so versagt. Bräuchte ich weniger suchen und schreiben. ;-)

Hier ist auch die Karte, die ich im Sinn hatte:

Neben diesem Eckerl Italien überraschte mich damals auch, dass aus Polen auch etwas zufließt.

Gute Karte, Livigno ist wohl der größte Fleck, der da zur Donau entwässert. Den Stillerbach (oder auch Stille Bach beim Reschenpass haben sie aber nicht drauf auf der Karte. Jedenfalls interessant. Muss mal schauen, ob ich wenigstens ein Foto von meiner alten schönen topografischen Wandkarte habe. Stammte aus den 50ern.
