In the days when I wrote my article 'What is a noteworthy photo?', I walked past shop windows much more attentively. I've seen a lot, but never shoes like the ones shown above.

Während der Tage, in denen ich meinen Artikel 'What is a noteworthy photo?' schrieb, bin ich viel aufmerksamer an Schaufenstern vorüber gegangen. Ich habe schon viel gesehen, aber noch nie solche Schuhe, wie die oben gezeigten.

Nee, ganz bstimmt nicht.
Aber Deine Reaktion unterstreicht nochmals die Bedeutung des emotionalen Faktors bei der Betrachtung von Bildern.
Ich roll mich jetzt wieder ins Bett.

Hab solche Sneakers noch nie 'in freier Wildbahn' gesehen.

These are toys for those who don't know what to do with their money. It only becomes questionable when young people are keen on such things because they want to assert their status in a clique. But that's a general problem with branded goods.

Das ist wohl ein Trick von Rolex, um die Preise weiter hoch zu treiben. Denn Rolex-Uhren sind derzeit ausverkauft, so dass Gebrauchtuhren teurer sind als neue:
