Today in Kitzbühel (Tyrol, Austria) the 80th Hahnenkamm-Race, the hardest downhill skiing competition in the world, begins. Unlike here in the picture on an easier slope in the Kitzbühel ski area, the motto there is: "Full Speed".

War es für mich Münsterländer auch. Habe erst mit 56 Jahren Skifahren gelernt. Denn was bleibt einem anders übrig, wenn man von Skigebieten umgeben ist, und (normalerweise) wintertags alle Wanderege in der Natur unbegehbar eingeschneit sind.
