The Way to the Zugspitze (5)
Prior to climb the glacier the mountaineers have to cross a large field of rubble, the Höllentalkar. On sunny days it is rather warm here, because the warmed up air rises from below.
Zuvor ist allerdings noch ein großes Geröllfeld, das Höllentarkar, zu queren. Bei sonnigem Bergwetter ist es hier recht heiß, weil die erwärmte Luft den Hang hochsteigt.
