At 24 Weeks buddy had an accident, just due to youthful exuberance and ended up breaking his rear left leg. The vet initially suggested that the break was that bad that it would need the leg to be amputated. [with a growing youngster pinning etc was not looked into as the leg would need retreating many times until he grows up]

However the x rays were seen by a specialist who thought that due to buddy's age it was worth while giving him a chance to heal. It appears that so far this was a good choice as although he still has a slight limp he appears to be recovering well - fingers crossed he should make a good recovery

I am awaiting final confirmation from the vet [as soon as I can book a non urgent appointment, due to covid regulations], but he appears to have fully recovered and is still a quadruped and not a Triped. He has no noticeable limp or other remaining issue so I am grateful to the specialist
