1904 Swift - BS 8487
Lovely collection of extremely old cars lined up at Newby Hall back in 2013 with a rare Swift from 1904 in the foreground.
The Swift Motor Company was based in Coventry, England from 1900 until 1931. It grew from James Starley's Coventry Sewing Machine Company, via bicycle and motorised cycle manufacture.
The Cadet of 1930 was their last vehicle though as they couldn't compete economically with volume manufacturers such as Ford.
