HDR Experiment ... SOOC Middle Of 3 Bracketed Images

HDR Experiment ... SOOC Middle Of 3 Bracketed Images
Continuing my foray into the world of HDR, this is the middle (normal exposure) image of the 3 that I used to create the PSP merged photo.

Although I'd not have been happy normally to use tis as it is without tweaking I do feel that SOOC it's actually better than what PaintShop Pro produced using the 3 separate images.

Gary Schotel, have particularly liked this photo

Hmm... Actually I think one could also use old good "contrast masking" on pictures like these, where there are no so very high differences in contrasts: luminous-landscape.com/contrast-masking

Then only one picture like this is enough. I tried to explain it on TSC discussions, but I guess no one noticed, or my English was not good enough to make it understood. The problem with contrast masking however, is that it makes image look pretty flat and boring. Therefore it is a good idea to do something else after that, like Elsamuko's "National Geography" script for GIMP: sites.google.com/site/elsamuko/gimp/ng

I will explain this in more details next Sunday.
