1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu - JFS 933D

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu - JFS 933D
The Chevrolet Chevelle was a mid-sized automobile produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors from 1964 through to 1977 and was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. I was lucky enough to spot this beautiful Malibu, which was the top of the line model, at this show.

It so impressed me that I'm posting two photos of this one, one from the front and the other from the rear.

, Indycaver (Norm), have particularly liked this photo

Cool find and photo! One of my buddies in high school had a 1966 SS Chevelle. He sold it and bought a 1973 Dodge Charger. I thought he was nuts at the time, but he didn't have the Charger very long and bought a 1975 Trans AM and a 1969 SS Chevelle. Both were 4 speeds and got drove pretty hard!

Nice story Norm ... would love to have any one of the cars you mentioned! Now, if you'll excuse me I need to go buy another lottery ticket! ;)

He blew the engine in the Chevelle, but eventually rebuilt it. The Trans Am barely survived a hard turn on a county road that snapped the rear hub right off the axle and sent the car into the ditch. It was never right after that and it got replaced with a 1977 Trans AM. For a short time we both had 1969 SS Chevelles though.
