Attractive car and photo! I don't think I've ever seen one here. I really don't know that much about VWs, but I would have thought the GTI would be a closer match to a Scirocco?

I doubt you've much chance Norm as I don't believe they ever made it available in the States. Not sure exactly why, some say VW were worried it might affect the GTI sales, but that seems odd ... I mean a sale's a sale surely?

Oh ... I think a lot of companies weigh all the US crash testing and emissions testing expense against potential sales, but in this case ... I think they were thinking of taking sales away from the Audi A5 maybe?
