I don't remember ever seeing any of these here. Reminds me a lot of the earl 70s Ford Falcons and Mavericks.

Not surprised you're not familiar with it as I doubt they shipped them over there. They were bad for rust so not that many left even over here now!

The Falcons and Mavericks were real rust buckets too! Living here in the heartland with very few foreign car dealerships ... we'd only see some foreign cars if an airman brought one in from the coast. I know when I had my MG ... getting parts was a real effort at the time! Things are quite different now though!

I'm no expert I'm afraid, so am basing my description on how the car has been registered and that's as a 132. From what I've read the two cars were quite similar, but the Fiat 131, additionally called "Mirafiori", was a small/medium family car whereas the 132 was classed as a large family car.

However, I'll bear in mind what you've said and see if I can find out more about the car should I see it again. ;)
