Sail and Bike Croatia / Split

Sail and Bike Croatia / Split
Gregory of Nin was a medieval bishop of Nin who fiercely opposed the Pope and the official circles of the Church and introduced the Croatian language to worship services. Until then, services were held only in the Latin language.
The 8.5 meter high statue is a busy tourist place in the city, as you can see on the big toe of the statue, due to the many touches the toe became smooth and shiny. Touching the toe should bring happiness

Laura Perinelli, Au Cœur... diagonalhorizon, Ronald Stachowiak, Kawasirius and 30 other people have particularly liked this photo

Wow, was für eine sehr imposante Statue. Er sieht auf jeden Fall streng aus. Ich hoffe auch, dass Sie zum Glück die Statuen eingerieben haben.

A beautiful series of photos from Split Aschi.................I visited there while I was in the Royal Navy............years ago, when it was still part of Yugoslavia! Such a lovely place with really friendly people and gorgeous scenery!

Thanks for sharing and bringing back some good memories.
