The picture shows the Cockenzie power station

The Cockenzie power station was a coal-fired power station on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, where two striking high chimneys dominate the coastline. Generated from 1967 to 2013. From 2014 the power plant was demolished and dismantling work was carried out.

I should think the view nowadays is quite beautiful. You can just make out the background of mountains behind, which should be in full view now. I bet the houses are pleased that the power station has gone

Schön, daß diese Industrieanlage abgerissen wurde. Sie paßt nicht sehrgut in die Mitte der kleinen Häuser!
