"Richard's Castle" is the poetic name of the house number 15 on Andreevsky Uzviz (Descent) in Kyiv, an architectural monument of the 19th century, built in the British Gothic style. Named by Kyiv writer Viktor Nekrasov in honor of King Richard the Lionheart, the hero of Walter Scott's novel "Ivanhoe"
The house was built in 1902-1904. Who is the architect is not exactly known.
