1867 : Büdnerhaus
A Büdner was in northern Germany, an owner of a small rural property. This included a house like the here shown one, with little land in the surround. Those kind of livehood was introduced here since 1753 by decree of Duke Christian Ludwig II. was prompted by the increasing flight of the inhabitants of rural areas to cities and abroad.
In the "Fischland Darß Zingst" found many thatched houses like this: nearly always bigger houses and with circular bay windows. The type of doors shown here with varied motives decorated, are typical for this area. However, still only get a few old houses here, but also a good part of modern architecture used in the above mentioned building details.
