Castle Hornberg

A leader in the peasant uprising of the year 1525 was Gottfried "Götz" from Berlichingen to Hornberg. He lived from 1517 to 1562 on this castle. The autobiographical records of the Lord inspired Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to write the spectacle "Götz von Berlichingen".
