Giant raindrop at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Not a great photograph but I am adding it to my album public art.

Spiral Tunnels
This wonderful viewpoint in Yoho National Park is a treat for any train enthusiast. Yes that is a train entering or exiting that tunnel in the mountain. The viewpoint is worth the stop on its own merit but watching the trains enter one side of a mountain and come out in another location always amazes everyone who watches this feat of engineering from the late 19th century. Train traffic is high on this line so there is always a chance one will see a train going through the tunnels.

My White Whale
I am so envious of all the great wildlife photographs on ipernity. I am not very good at catching any kind of wildlife, let alone make it look pleasing.
I have been trying to capture this little fellow for the past week. Tonight he risked being photographed because of the bowl of water in our back yard. I finally captured him with several shots. He is my white whale and I finally have him. :)

Illuminated Figure in White

This figure will soon change color. There is a fascination to encountering these figures on pedestals the first time.

This was moments after it was white. The colors change on these figures in Place Massena.
Apollo

These lighted figures on pedestals with Apollo make this walk at Place Massena, near the old city, a nice, Nice, scene.

Sharing the Road in Corsica
The goats in Corsica generally walk on the correct side of the road. Since we were in a rental car we hoped that they would be polite and they were. This was a surprise to us for in Canada the domestic animals are fenced in. We faced about a kilometer, or maybe more, of these guys coming the other direction. One of the many joys and surprises in visiting Corse.
